The OpenSpime project is operated under an Open Source business model. We publish the OpenSpime protocol, and application libraries under a GPL 3 license, which enables anybody to incorporate them in their applications. We are convinced that only an inclusive approach like this will make the Open Internet Of Things to flourish, rather than an exclusive, proprietary one, which would make it flounder.

The Open Source business model is based on value added services, which are needed to properly apply our technology to various fields, in the industry, on the web, in business-to-business, and business-to-consumer areas.
